Reduces draughts: Thermoseal reduces draughts through the wall frame and around wall insulation batts. Reducing air infiltration makes a home more comfortable and helps insulation work more efficiently.
Reduces moisture entry: Thermoseal can reduce moisture entry through the wall helping prevent structural damage to the frame and allowing the wall insulation batts to perform at the specified R-Value rating.
Increases energy efficiency: Thermoseal helps a home improve its energy efficiency by protecting the wall insulation batts from draughts and moisture entry. The overall R-Value rating of a wall can be boosted when the reflective face of Thermoseal Wall Wrap is positioned adjacent to an air gap. If walls are filled with insulation batts its recommended that Thermoseal Wall Wrap XP is used.
